Prime Minister Ardern says the next steps are to open the bubble to the Pacific nations, while the “travel bubble” with Australia begins.

New Zealand (NZ) Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said in a statement on Monday that the next steps for the country are to open the travel bubble to the Pacific nations.

Currently, there are no movements for now in a bubble between New Zealand and Singapore, nor are there any formal talks, added Ardern.

These comments occur after travel between New Zealand and Australia has reopened for the first time in a year this Monday. The bubble is likely quarantine free.
