Prince Charles tested positive for the new coronavirus in a test he underwent, his office announced today, while this is the second time that the heir to the British throne is infected with the virus.
“The Prince of Wales tested positive for COVID-19 this morning and is now in solitary confinement,” his office said in a statement, adding that it had canceled its scheduled commitments for the rest of the day.
Karolos, 73, was diagnosed with the new coronavirus in March 2020 and later stated that he had only mild symptoms. He then spent 7 days in solitary confinement at his home in Berkeley, Scotland before returning to his duties.
Yesterday, Wednesday, he attended a reception of the British Asian Trust, which among other guests included the British Minister of Finance Risi Sunak and the Minister of Health Sajid Javid.
