That Lady Diana still play a crucial role in his son’s life Harryeven 25 years after his tragic death in a car accident in Paris, is well known.
But his new Netflix series Harry & Meghan offers a heartwarming new detail on how Harry keeps the memory alive for his children, Archiethree years, e Lilibetone, even if they will never know the grandmother.
A touching scene from docuserieswhose first three episodes landed on the streaming platform Thursday, shows how Harry And Meghan hung a black and white photo of Diana, Princess of Wales on the wall of the children’s room at their home in Montecito, California.
The room, filled with light, is decorated with a foliage print wallpaper and feels like a relaxing place for the little Sussexes to while away their days. There is a watch over them Dianawho smiles from one photography framed shot by esteemed fashion and royal photographer Patrick Demarchelier.
At one point Meghan brings little Archie in front of the photograph and says to him: «This is yours grandmother Diana». And so the children will grow up knowing their grandmother’s name and face.

“I don’t have many early memories of my mother,” she says as archival footage of her childhood plays, “it’s like I block them internally. But I always remember her cheeky laugh of hers… and I will always be that cheeky person inside of me ».

You have this warmth that distinguishes you.’
The idea of keeping Diana’s memory alive in his relationship with Meghan was important to Harry from the start: he made sure diamonds of his mother were incorporated into theengagement ring of his wife and said he thought the two women would be “inseparable” if Diana were alive today.
The first three episodes of the six-part series premiere today. There second part of the series will arrive on the streaming platform on December 15th. Buckingham Palace aides are said to have watched the first few episodes on Thursday morning, along with the rest of the world.
