British prince Harry met victims of war in Ukraine as part of his work with injured veterans, a spokesman said on Thursday (10).
Harry, who served for 10 years in the British Army, visited the Superhumans Center, an orthopedic clinic located in the city of LVIV, in western Ukraine, which offers care and rehabilitation for injured military and civilians.
The Duke of Sussex, who currently lives in California with his wife Meghan and the couple’s two sons, was in London this week due to a lawsuit related to changes in their UK safety. Harry moved away from his real duties in 2020.
Veteran of two missions in Afghanistan, Harry was accompanied in LVIV by veterans at Invictus Games Foundation, a charity organization behind the international sporting event he created for injured military personnel.
The British prince also met health professionals and patients at Superhumans Center, as well as Ukraine Veteran Minister Natalia Kalmykova, according to his spokesman.
