Prince Harry is set to inherit the Queen Mother’s monstrous fortune (and his share is bigger than William’s)

Next September 15th, the day of his fortieth birthday, Prince Harry to Receive a Mountain of Money Thanks to His Late Great-Grandmother, The Queen Mother. Queen Elizabeth’s mother had in fact invested 90 million dollars in a trust fund for her family. One of the beneficiaries, upon turning 40, is the Duke of Sussex. Who on his birthday will receive the monstrous sum of 8.5 million dollarsi. Much more than received from the prince Williamas explained by the Mirrorwhen he turned 40 in June 2022.

No injustice, however. The Queen Mother knew well that William, as heir to the throne, would benefit from the wealth and income of the Duchy of Cornwall. So she thought it best to protect Harry, the “spare”, the “spare wheel”, as the Duke of Sussex himself defined himself in his famous bombshell book full of attacks against the British royal family. Of the 14 million dollars allocated by the Queen Mother for her two grandchildren, Harry will therefore receive the biggest slice: 8.5 million dollars are about to be added to the Sussexes’ fortune, estimated according to the New York Post in 60 million dollars.

A fortune that has grown a lot since Harry and his wife Meghan Markle in 2020 they said goodbye to the royal family and moved to California, where they live with their children Archie And Lilibet Diana. Thanks to the memoir Spare and thanks to various millionaire contracts (like those signed with Netflix (and with Spotify, which unceremoniously dumped the Sussexes last year) Harry and Meghan have largely replenished their coffers. Nonetheless, they are still considered the «poor people of Hollywood». Their friends (former friends?) George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres, who have long seemed to snub them, turned out to be ten times richer. And the Queen Mother’s legacy won’t be enough to allow the Sussexes to catch up. Not only that: the future King William, thanks to his lucrative Duchy Of Cornwall, he is destined to always be richer than his brother spare and his wife.
