Prince Harry takes a job at a Silicon Valley company after breaking with the palace

A worker like everyone else – roughly that – will soon be Prince Harry, who recently confirmed with his wife Megan the final divorce from the British royal family.

Prince Harry got a job at a Silicon Valley startup company, BetterUp, in the field of mental health, as chief impact officer, reports the Daily Mail.

In his new role, o Harry is expected to take part in initiatives such as product strategy decisions and charitable contributions and take a public position on mental health-related issues, according to Reuters.

BetterUp did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Earlier this month, The interview of Queen Elizabeth’s grandson and Megan’s American wife to Oprah Winfrey caused a deep crisis in the British monarchy, the largest since the deaths of Princess Diana, Harry’s mother and William’s older brother, in 1997.

Harry, 36, and 39 Megan shocked in January 2020 when they announced their intention to retire from their royal duties and start a new life in America.

Last month, Buckingham Palace announced that Harry and Megan had confirmed their breakup with the royal family and that they did not intend to return as active members.
