“Mental health is the pinnacle, what you aim for,” said the Duke of Sussex, admitting to having experienced the burnouta real exhaustion that affects not only the mind, but also the body.

“I was burning the candle from both ends,” he stated with a metaphor that makes the problem well. “It is then that you are forced to look inside yourself, the only way to really fight it is the inner work”said comparing with Alexi Robichaux, CEO of BetterUP and Serena Williamsgreat friend of Meghan Markle, who candidly admitted: “Harry is my mental coach.”

Ever since he realized what was wrong with his life, Harry has taken his well-being very seriously. “I need to meditate every day”, revealed, pointing out that when things get tough in life “Self-care is the first thing that disappears.”

The prince, every morning, takes 45 minutes to meditate, take a walk with the dog or to train, all activities that facilitate the connection with himself. “If everyone did that, the change in global consciousness, awareness and self-awareness would be huge,” he added, calling it a “cycle of connectivity.” Not always everything is easy, of course, as it is for anyone: “Some days are fantastic, others really difficult “, he revealed, defining himself “Educated by the universe”. In short, between therapy and Zen, the prince seems to have found a new dimension.

It is not the first time that Harry has emphasized his psychological needs, clearing up issues that are still perceived as taboo by some societies. “Quit your job if it doesn’t make you happy”, he suggested last December, arousing no small indignation among those who could not go on without work. His speech, of course, had to be read in a broader perspective, aimed at mental well-being.

It is up to each individual to find the right key, as he did. Light years from life before.
