Philip Karageorgievich, Crown Prince of Serbia and Yugoslavia, believes that the new generation should be taught bitcoin in schools, and all over the world.
During the Surfin’ Bitcoin 2022 conference in France, Philip Karageorgevitch emphasized that if children are aware of bitcoin and its benefits, it will greatly increase the adoption and use of cryptocurrencies in the future.
“Children need to understand what the essence of bitcoin is. They need to know the history of money, but this is not taught in schools. As I see it, education is getting worse,” he said.
The Prince of Serbia and Yugoslavia gave an example from his own family – his four-year-old son Stefan is interested in bitcoin and is trying to understand what the first cryptocurrency can be used for:
“He is trying to understand the idea of bitcoin. Until he understands that there is such a cryptocurrency, and his father often talks about it.”
Karageorgievich himself calls himself an “enthusiast and maximalist” of bitcoin. Earlier, he said that the adoption of bitcoin is great for Islamic countries, because it is “ideal money according to Sharia law.” He also considers bitcoin to be “free and hard money, not subject to inflation.”
