Prince William is returning to public duties after King Charles was diagnosed with cancer

THE Prince William of Britain is expected to return to public duties today, Wednesday (7/2) following his wife Kate's surgery and the revelation by his father, King Charlesthat he is suffering from cancer. As it became known expected to assume a more prominent role during his father's absence from public life.

William postponed all his scheduled obligations to deal with his three children after the scheduled one abdominal surgery which his 42-year-old wife Kate underwent on January 16.

His father has since undergone surgery at the same hospital as Kate for an enlarged prostate before announcing his Palace Buckinghamon Monday, that tests that followed the 75-year-old monarch revealed a form of cancer.

Today, William, 41, as reported by the Athens News Agency citing Reuters, will make his first public appearance since the two health incidents of his own, when he will award, during an official ceremony at Windsor Castle, state honors and later he will attend a dinner for the London Hospital Helicopter Service charity.
