Shortly after his funeral Prince Philip, the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton posted a small but moving message on Twitter wanting to say goodbye.
“The Duke of Edinburgh has been a devoted companion of Queen Elizabeth for almost 73 years, from her coronation in 1952 until his death,” they wrote on their personal Twitter account.
In addition, they uploaded 2 photos of Prince Philip, one of them next to his coffin and another where William, Harry and other close members of the royal family follow the coffin in the chapel of St. George.
And then they uploaded the same to their Instagram account, then adding shots and snapshots away from his funeral.
