Prince William newspaper seller on the streets of London: photos go around the web

Strolling around London and bump into the prince William it is not a particularly remote eventuality, much more unusual to find it busy selling newspapers. At first they did not believe their eyes Vitalijus and Laura Zuikauskas, Lithuanian spouses on vacation in the British capital, then took courage and asked for a photo of the heir to the throne; he willingly posed for a souvenir shot, which inevitably ended up on social media.

“An unexpected meeting with Prince William,” wrote Vitalijus sharing the photo, the same enthusiasm on the part of Laura, who said she was “thrilled” to have met a member of the royal family, especially in a moment of great commitment. The Duke of Cambridge, in fact, was participating in an initiative organized by the magazine The Big Issue, magazine whose proceeds are donated to the homeless and other people in financial difficulty.

“At first we didn’t realize that Prince William was standing there, we passed him, we didn’t recognize him at all,” said Mrs. Zuikauskas to the The Post. “After I turned around I knew it was him,” continued the woman. “We stopped for a chat with him, he was so nice. My love for the royal family has grown by 200% since meeting William. ”

However, the photos taken by Zuikauskas are not the only ones. The prince was also recognized by other people who got a shot with him as long as they bought a copy of the magazine, as did taxi driver Neil Kramer.

The Duke of Cambridge has always been very sensitive to the difficulties of the homeless. Merit of mother Diana: when his eldest son was 11 he took him with him to a shelter for homeless, with the aim of making him understand immediately how privileged he was and how much he could have done to help the most needy.

A lesson learned perfectly. He too, like his grandmother Elizabeth, is ready for a life of service.
