Princess Rajwa of Jordan and the first public engagement after the birth of her daughter

Despite being on maternity leave, Princess Rajwa of Jordan she found time to support her homeland in an exciting football match together with her husband, Crown Prince Hussein. Prince Hussein, on the other hand, coordinated in a black T-shirt and added a patriotic touch with a matching zip-up jacket, emblazoned with the national flag of Jordan.

The princess’s appearance attracted the attention of the crowd, as it was the first time she had been seen in public since the couple had their first child (a baby girl, Princess Iman) on August 3. At the time, the news was shared by the Hashemite Royal Court’s Instagram page, which posted a video of Prince Hussein cradling his baby girl and speaking sweetly to her.

The adorable video was accompanied by a caption that read: «His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the guardian of the alliance, whispers in the ear of his daughter, His Highness Princess Iman bint Hussein, guided by the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah, peace be with him.” The couple told HELLO! Rajwa was seen five days later leaving the King Hussein Medical Center wearing an elegant blue and white patterned dress. She and her husband smiled as they showed off Iman in her baby carrier, and the three also posed for a sweet family photo that Hussein posted on his Instagram page. “A heartfelt thank you to the scrupulous staff of the Royal Health Services for the exceptional care provided to Rajwa and Iman in the last few days,” he wrote in the caption.

The new Princess Iman was certainly showered with love: a few hours after her birth, Queen Rania, her grandmother, posted on her social media some intimate photos of the family which portray her holding the newborn in her arms, surrounded by smiling relatives. Impeccably dressed as always, she wore a light blue Zimmerman suit to meet her niece Rania, paired with a pair of low-cut stiletto heels by Dior. «Iman, you have already won my heart. Our family has never been happier!”, he wrote alongside the images, which also show Rania’s husband, King Abdullah, meeting his first granddaughter, and Princess Salma (Prince Hussein’s sister) holding him in his arms. the granddaughter.

Hussein and Rajwa married in June last year in a breathtaking ceremony also attended by the Prince and Princess of Wales, as well as Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The bride looked radiant in a custom white gown designed by Lebanese designer Elie Saab, featuring an asymmetrical neckline and a sweeping white train embroidered with flowers.
