American actress Priscilla Presley, widow of singer Elvis Presley, was in Brazil last week to visit her son, musician Navarone Garibaldi. Surprising her followers with a brief visit, she appeared in Curitiba and praised the capital of Paraná.

Born in California, United States, Navarone is the son of Priscilla Presley and Brazilian producer Marco Antonio Garcia, known as Marco Garibaldi.
In an interview with “People” magazine, the lead singer of the rock band “Them Guns” revealed that his Brazilian nationality was a surprise until 2017. He believed he was born into an Italian family, as his father changed the surname Garcia to Garibaldi when he changed for the United States.
The musician discovered his nationality when a Brazilian cousin sent him a message talking about his kinship. Two weeks after the contact, he visited Brazil to meet his family.
Upon discovering the truth about his past, Navarone tried to talk to his father, who did not react well. According to him, Marco Garibaldi asked his son to forget his number the last time they spoke.
Navarone is 36 years old and is the half brother of Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis’ only daughter who died after two cardiac arrests earlier this year.
Priscilla and Marco Garibaldi remained together for 22 years, after their troubled marriage to Elvis, which ended in 1972.
At the meeting between mother and son, the two published a photo and shared the moment with their followers on Instagram.
“I had the best time with you, Mom. I was so happy that I could show you my favorite place in the world. And I’m glad you like it here!!! #curitiba #brazil”, said the singer in the caption.
“I just landed in Atlanta, now I’m going to LA. I had a great time with you and everyone there. Very good to see you happy. Hugs and kisses to everyone,” wrote Priscilla.
In the comments, fans expressed their affection for the two, “We can clearly see that you adore each other. Beautiful family,” said one. “This is a special photo. No one loves us like our mothers,” said another. “She hugs you so tenderly. You two are wonderful!”, commented a fan.
