Priscilla Presley settles with her granddaughter over Lisa Marie’s will

The ex-wife of the talented singer Elvis Presley, Priscilla Ann Beaulieu Wagner, better known as Priscilla Presley, has reached an agreement with her granddaughter for the trust that her late daughter Lisa Marie inherited.

The trust includes Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate and a 15 percent stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises, but in 2016, Lisa Marie herself filed an amendment to remove her mother as co-trustee of his estate and put in her place Riley Keough, her eldest daughter.

Claiming that she was not notified of the changes made to the trust while Lisa Marie was alive, Priscilla Presley argued that the amendment passed in 2016 should be considered void, filing a petition in January challenging its authenticity and validity. However, apparently, the parties have reached an agreement in a court in Los Angeles, California. In a statement sent to PeoplePriscilla shared the news.

My family has resolved all the confusion related to our declaration in court and the request for interpretation of documents after the untimely death of my daughter Lisa Marie. Although some media identified such an allegation as a lawsuit, I want to make it clear that no lawsuit was ever filed against my beloved granddaughter.

According to some sources who spoke with PeopleRiley was surprised that her grandmother Priscilla challenged the amendment, as people close to the family know that Lisa Marie’s will was for her children to have control of her trust, which in 2022 generated $110 million. However, the ex-wife of the “King of Rock and Roll” only asks for privacy at this time.

As a family, we are glad we worked this out together. My family and I hope that everyone will grant us the privacy we needed to properly mourn Lisa Marie and spend time together. We love and appreciate all of you. The Presley family is stronger than ever.

The next hearing and motion for approval is scheduled in court for August 4. Should the 2016 amendment be struck down in court, both Priscilla and Riley would remain as co-trustees.
