Police have arrested a man who escaped from prison 13 years ago after he was jailed for stealing a car at gunpoint. This is 42-year-old Eduardo Hernandez who was found in New York, with the police not revealing more details about the time of the arrest, other than that the man is not alleged to have committed any other crime while he was a fugitive. According to a New York Post report, the 42-year-old was serving a 13-year sentence at California’s Delta Conservation Camp prison after pleading guilty to an armed carjacking in 2005. In the early hours of November 15, 2011, he escaped from prison along with inmate Jose Padilla, with both men wearing the prisoners’ orange uniforms. Since then, their fate was unknown until authorities located Hernandez in New York and handcuffed him.
