The Prime Minister and President of ND Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a private lunch at noon with the governor of the Paris region and Republican candidate (LR) for the office of President of the French Republic, Valerie Pekres, who is visiting Athens.
During the lunch, according to information, the traditionally excellent climate in Greek-French relations was reaffirmed, the challenges of Europe and the European People’s Party, of which the ND and the Republicans (LR) are members, were discussed, and an extensive analysis of geopolitical developments in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The dinner was attended by former EU Commissioner Michel Barnier and Serres MP and ND International Relations Secretary Tassos Hadjivassiliou.
