Dilemmas, backstories and discoveries are fundamental elements of the stories told by the American journalist Lisa Ling, which can now be seen every Sunday at CNN Brazil. The program “Lisa Ling: Quebrando Tabus”, which premieres on March 27 at 9 pm, will be hosted by anchor Carol Nogueira.

The first episode, “Legalized Brothel”, delves into the lives of women who work with lust, having sex as a legal profession. Lisa goes to Moonlite Bunny Ranch, the most famous legalized brothel in the United States, where she goes behind the scenes and even unravels the bureaucracy necessary for the exercise of this activity.

Many questions are answered by those who are part of this market. Among them, what is it like to be a legalized prostitute, how is the work relationship, what is the motivation of these women and who is the public that frequents the brothel.

The original series, shown since 2014 by CNN, entitled “This Is Life with Lisa Ling”, is one of the channel’s most awarded documentary products. The 48-year-old Californian journalist, who collects awards, is fearless in her questioning and travels through varied realities in search of unusual or misunderstood people and communities. It goes beyond what appearances indicate to unveil unconventional trajectories.
