The Chinese company GPD has announced the next generation portable gaming computer called GPD Win 4, which boasts high performance thanks to the Ryzen 7 6800U processor and the integrated Radeon 680M graphics accelerator. Visually, the novelty is similar to the Sony PSP console, but runs on the Windows operating system with a GPD Playnite interface for better adaptation to this form factor.
The GPD Win 4 laptop is equipped with a 6-inch Full HD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The screen refresh rate is not named, as is the type of display (OLED or IPS). In terms of performance, the console is fine with that. The little gaming monster pulls even heavy games and supports connecting an external graphics card via the USB-C port. The RAM in the device can be 16 or 32 GB (depending on the version chosen), and a 1 or 2 TB PCIe NVME SSD is used as a built-in drive.

The case of GPD Win 4 is made of matte polycarbonate, it is more curved than the previous model. In general, the design strongly resembles the Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) with the same control buttons. The console has a built-in keyboard that appears when you slide the screen up. In fact, it replaces the touch buttons and controls on the screen. From the connection interfaces, there are two USB ports (top and bottom), Wi-Fi and 4G LTE, so that users can play anywhere and anytime.
GPD Win 4 will go on sale next month, the number of consoles will be limited. The choice of buyers will provide the device in silver-white and black color options.
