Psychologist who did “experiments” with cats in the DF is indicted 16 times

Psychologist Pablo Stuart Fernandes Carvalho, 30, was indicted 16 times by the Federal District Civil Police (PCDF) by animal abuse. He adopted tiger cats and would have done experiments with at least 16 felines in six months.

According to the Police Station for Crimes Against Animals (DRCA/Cepema), man came into contact with several protectors and deceived them with loving and protective speech with animals. A month after adoptions, he invented stories, said cats disappeared and asked for another animal.

And an audio to one of the protectors, he confessed that he had already worked with animal experimentation, which eventually reinforced the thesis that he would be conducting experiments, but it is not yet known what kind of procedures they were.

A protest occurred in front of the Public Prosecution Service of the DF and Territories (MPDFT), on the morning of Friday (21), and the protectors asked for justice.

Last week, he was summoned by the PCDF to give testimony, but remained silent with the lawyer. The DRCA has requested the custody of the suspect, but still awaits the court decision.
