In a press release, the MP informed that “the Capital Consumer Prosecutor’s Office will receive, this Tuesday (7), representatives from Enel SP in order to obtain information on the measures taken by the company’s management to resolve the interruption of electricity supply to consumers, notably in Greater São Paulo, due to the heavy rains and intense winds that hit the State last Friday (3)”.
According to the MP, “the aforementioned meeting will take place within the scope of a procedure that is already being processed by the Prosecutor’s Office and aims to assess the quality of the company’s provision of a service of an absolutely essential nature, as proven by the inconvenience caused to the population due to the shortages recorded since the end of last week”.
