Public Proclamation of the Republic: know what works in the city of São Paulo

The city of São Paulo will have some services operating in alternative hours and others unavailable during the next Monday (15) on the occasion of the Republic Day holiday.

Bank branches in the capital will be closed, while buses will be used according to Saturday’s fleets.

Banks

There will be no service at bank branches on Monday, as reported by the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban). Self-service areas and digital and remote service channels will be available, such as internet banking and applications.

Subway

The Metro will have operation equivalent to a Sunday during the holiday. Lines 1-Blue, 2-Green, 3-Red and 15-Silver of the São Paulo subway will operate with a limited fleet. Lines 4-Yellow and 5-Lilac will also have reduced train supply, but adjusted throughout the day according to passenger demand.
