Pump.fun charged intellectual property violations

The Pump.fun platform for creating Memcoirs in the SOLANA blockchain again attracted the attention of the crypto community. For this, two American lawyers Burwick Law and Wolf Popper LLP sent a letter to her with a request to remove several tokens-memes that use their names and logos.

Lawyers also accused the platform team of the fact that they allowed the launch of such memcoids, although they had a technical opportunity to prevent “unauthorized deployment of assets.”

According to law firms, these actions of PUMP.Fun not only violate their intellectual property rights, but subject investors risk.

To date, Pump.fun users have created several tokens dedicated to the Burwick Law, Wolf Popper LLP and manager Burwick Max Burviku.

These meme tokens, according to the Surfirs, are “the use of blockchain technologies as a tool for violation of laws and the proper legal procedure”.

Any further unauthorized use of the names of our companies, intellectual property or connection with this token can lead to immediate trial, the warning from lawyers is indicated.

This is not the first appeal of Burwick Law and Wolf Popper LLP to the PUMP.Fun management. Previously, lawnthrows filed two collective lawsuits on behalf of investors who lost money on the memcoids issued there.
