PUMP.FUN, a platform for launching SOLANA-based memcoirs, resumed the function of direct broadcasts five months after it is disconnected due to the trash content, with which users tried to attract investments in their projects.

The co -founder of PUMP.Fun Alon Cohen said that now this function is available only 5% of users in the framework of testing the updated system. Materials will be tested using automated tools, but the human factor will not be excluded.

An open expression of opinions is encouraged on the platform, but illegal and unacceptable content is suppressed. This includes prohibitions on violence, cruelty to animals and pornography. Repeated or serious violations can lead to a statement of account.

“Pump.fun seeks to find a balance between creativity and safety. Users must consciously interact with each other on the platform, so they need to be protected from harmful and negative impact, ”said Pump.fun.

In November 2024, Pump.fun turned off the direct broadcast function after a series of shocking incidents. Many users began to abuse broadcasts, threatening to inflict physical injuries to themselves or their pets if the tokens launched by them do not reach a certain market capitalization. For ignoring such cases, the platform has been strictly criticized.

Later, PUMP.Fun said that she doubled the number of moderators, introduced automated smart filters and added resources to support the audience affected by these broadcasts. Cohen hopes that now, after restarting the broadcast function with improved moderation tools, PUMP.Fun will restore the audience’s trust.

In December, PUMP.Fun revenue fell sharply due to a decrease in user involvement-the number of memcoids created on the platform was reduced by half.
