Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday gave the “green light” to start a dialogue between them. “If he wants to get back in touch (with me) … I’m ready,” Putin said of Trump in a speech at the Valdai Forum in the resort of Sochi. “I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate him on his election to the presidency of the United States,” he added. “I think we’re going to talk,” Trump said, referring to Putin, during an interview with NBC. The US president-elect said he had already spoken to about 70 heads of state since winning the Nov. 5 election.
