Putin: Informally appointed ‘general’ leading member Wagner to reverse Ukraine war

THE Vladimir Putin informally appointed as “general” a leading member of the Wagner mercenary group, in order to succeed in reversing the negative climate prevailing in war in Ukraine.

As reported by the Institute for the Study of War in the USA on its official website understandingwar.orgit is the former businessman and leader of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin.

In the past, Prigozhin, who is also called “Putin’s chef” many years ago, maintained a catering service for the Kremlin, and as Western analysts report, he has a close relationship with the Russian president, although the Kremlin has denied this.

Prigozhin admitted on September 14 that inmates of Russian prisons have been participating in the war since July 1 and contributed to the seizure of the Vakhleriska thermal power station.

At the same time the think tank citing a Russian blogger reports that the leading member of Wagner is introducing a “Stalinist” method that allows the Kremlin to avoid a general mobilization that could ignite social tensions in Russian society.

However, the general mobilization for the moment does not seem to be in the immediate plans of the Kremlin, while the representative of the Russian president, Dmitri Peskov, also denied this.
