Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the government to prepare a law on an experiment to sell prescription drugs remotely.

This is stated in the list of instructions following the meeting with members of the All-Russian public organization “Business Russia”, published on the official website of the President of Russia. The list of instructions has already been approved by Putin.
The Government of Russia was instructed to ensure the implementation of a set of measures aimed at improving the provision of medical care to the population and drug supply to the population. In particular, the phased introduction of remote technologies for consultations of patients with doctors, the formation of electronic prescriptions for medicines under the experimental legal regime should be envisaged.
Also, the government should prepare a draft federal law to conduct an experiment on the remote sale (online) of prescription drugs.
Recall that earlier in Russia they allowed the delivery of over-the-counter drugs. As Putin noted, the next most important step in this direction is the delivery of prescription drugs.
