Putin: “It is in the interest of Russia the end of the war in Ukraine”

Russian President Vladimir Putin began a joint press conference with US President Donald Trump after the two men had a discussion with their advisers. Putin initially said that “the negotiations were useful and detailed in an atmosphere of mutual respect”, while thanking Trump for the proposal of a summit in Alaska. He even said that it is “in the interest of Russia to end the war in Ukraine”. In fact, Putin invited the American to Moscow for a next meeting.
