Putin: “Military operation” in Ukraine will stop only if Moscow’s demands are met

Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, with their conversation focusing on developments in Ukraine war.

THE President of Russia clarified to his counterpart that “Military operation” in Ukraine will stop only if the Ukrainians stop fighting and only if Moscow’s demands are metaccording to a Kremlin statement.

He reiterated that the military operation, as described by Moscow as its invasion of Ukraine, was progressing according to plan.

He added that hopes that the Ukrainian negotiators will take a more constructive approach and take into account the reality.
