According to Putin, it makes no sense to create artificial barriers to the development of genetic engineering. He added that genetic engineering is perhaps the most interesting thing in the field of technology today. Therefore, Russia is undoubtedly ready to support these studies. The main thing, according to the president, is for the world community to develop general criteria for work in the field of genetic engineering and adhere to them.
