The Russian president Vladimir Putin characterized today “inhuman act of terrorism” the shooting incident at a school in Izhevsk, in central Russia that killed at least 13 people among which seven children and the injury of at least 21.
“The president deeply mourns the death of people and children in this school where a terrorist act took place,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, as the attacker wore a black T-shirt with the Nazi symbol, the swastika.
The Kremlin spokesman said doctors, psychologists and neurosurgeons had been sent on Putin’s orders to the site in Izhevsk, located about 970 km east of Moscow.
“The president wishes a speedy recovery to those injured in this inhumane attack,” he added.
