Solz asked Putin for the withdrawal of Russian forces to allow a “diplomatic solution” to the Ukraine and condemned Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine
The two men discussed the global food situation, which remains under pressure due to the war in Ukraine, according to the chancellor’s spokesman. Solz and Putin agreed to “remain in contact.”
