Vladimir Putin has gone viral after appearing in a 58-second video, alone, waiting for his Turkish counterpart in Tehran.
The Russian president appeared to have lost his cool after entering a meeting room to find it empty except for the media. He then stood awkwardly in front of reporters, waiting for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who seemed to have taken the opportunity to get his blood back.
The cameras zoom in on the Russian president at one point, emphasizing how unhappy he looks.

As National News senior Middle East correspondent Joyce Karam tweeted: “Those 50 seconds Erdogan kept Putin waiting, staring blankly at the cameras, speaks volumes [για το] how much has changed after Ukraine”.
Putin is actually known for making people wait for him. In 2020, in Moscow, he made Erdogan wait so long (about two minutes) that the Turkish president decided to sit down, with the footage going around the world.
According to Turkish media at the time, Erdogan felt humiliated as he and his entourage were forced to wait outside the conference room.
