Putin’s first words after the bombings in Ukraine: The response will be harsh if the attacks continue

The Russian president Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine today of “terrorist actions” against Russia and warned that his response will be harsh if it continues with the same attitude.

Putin stressed that Moscow had unleashed the missile attack on energy, military and communications facilities in retaliation for the attack on the Russian bridge in Crimea last weekend, according to Reuters.

“It is clear that the Ukrainian intelligence services ordered, organized and carried out the terrorist attack aimed at destroying critical infrastructure of Russia,” Putin said.
