Qatar Cup launches website for booking accommodation: daily rates start at R$400

The fans who have tickets for the Qatar Cup can now book their accommodation with tips from official competition website.

The organizers of the World Cup offer options in several categories and prices start from US$ 84 a day (about R$ 400) and can reach up to US$ 945 (R$ 4,500).

The sporting event will take place between November 21 and December 8 – a period a little different from the other editions (which take place in the middle of the year) due to climate issues in the country.

There are options for apartments and villas, as well as cruise ships that will be docked in the port of Doha. Hotels and fan villages are not yet listed on the site, but will be soon.

In apartments and villas, the cheapest room starts at US$ 84 for two people, with basic services included, such as bathroom, reception, wi-fi, cleaning, refrigerator and microwave. The most expensive ones cost more than 10 times the value and include parking, living room, smart TV, washing machine, kitchen, among other amenities.

For those looking to enjoy a different experience, there are options for two cruises with prices starting at US$180 and US$348 per night. Both include swimming pools, spas, restaurants and bars with a license to sell alcoholic beverages – not all venues have this permit in the country.

An important detail for those who have a trip planned: the event also launched the “Hayya Card’, which must be requested after the official purchase of tickets by the fan.

The presentation will be mandatory at the entrance of the country and also for the matches of the competition. In addition, the card will offer a number of benefits, including free public transport for ticket holders on departure days. To request this card, it is necessary to download the “Hayya to Qatar 2022” app, already available in Android and IOS versions.

The Brazilian team is guaranteed in the twenty-second edition of the event. The Qatar Cup draw will take place on April 1 at 1:00 pm (Brasília time) at the Doha Convention and Exhibition Center in Qatar.
