There is still time to apply for one of the 20,000 volunteer vacancies for the FIFA World Cup 2022 . Applications will close this Sunday, July 31 and the interviews will be concluded until August 13th, the date that marks the 100 days for the start of the tournament.
THE Qatar Cup will take place between November 21 and December 18 and will be the first to be held in the Middle East and the Arab World. In all, there will be eight stadiums that will host competition games. Tournament volunteers will be at the heart of the event’s operations, supporting the 45 functional areas in more than 30 different roles.
Interested persons should enter in this link and fill in the application form. Afterwards, they will need to play “take on the trials”, which is a kind of assessment of the entity in the form of a game.
The last step is to schedule the interviews, which are conducted by thousands of volunteers who have actively supported previous FIFA tournaments. They’ve interviewed thousands of candidates since March, but there are still plenty of openings.
To participate in the program, volunteers must be 18 years of age or older by October 1, 2022.
Speaking English and being available to commit to a minimum of 10 turns during the tournament are also prerequisites.
It is worth mentioning that those selected are responsible for purchasing the flight and accommodation. Food is included during working hours.
