Italian and Belgian prosecutors dealing with the Qatargate corruption scandal.
As the newspaper La Repubblica points out, it is considered possible to refer to six bank accounts seized in Italy; and which belong to Antonio Panzeri, his daughter and wife, Francesco Giorgi and trade unionist Luca Vizentini.
Also during the meeting, prosecutors are expected to delve into the activities of Antonio Panzeri’s tax advisor, Monica Rossana Bellini, who was arrested last week and allegedly involved in “laundering” money from Qatar and Morocco.
During the meeting, documents seized on raids on Panzeri’s homes in Italywhile it is possible to discuss whether the evidence so far justifies the realization of an independent investigation in Italy.
