Qnap Systems has introduced a series of network-attached storage (NAS) powered by AMD Ryzen v1500B quad-core processors. The TS-x73A series includes four, six and eight SATA drive bays.

Each model has 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The RAM can be expanded up to 64 GB. It should be noted that there are two slots for M.2 SSDs with PCIe interface. The SSDs installed in them can be used to improve performance using Qtier Technology and SSD Caching. There are two 2.5GbE ports for network connection. Two PCIe Gen.3 x4 expansion slots allow you to expand NAS functionality, such as adding 5GbE and 10GbE network cards, a QM2 expansion card with network ports and SSD slots, a wireless adapter, or an expansion card with SATA / SAS ports for connecting blocks TL SAS, TL SATA and RESP extensions. It is also possible to install graphics cards, and they can be made available to virtual machines. The picture is completed by three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, the signals of which are routed to the USB-F connectors, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, routed to the USB-C connector.
Sales of the new NAS have already begun.
