The meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Greece Nikos Dendias, of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulidis, of Egypt Sameh Soukri and of France Jean-Yves Le Drian will take place tomorrow in Athens.
Developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Middle East, Libya, the Gulf, the Sahel and the Cyprus issue are expected to be discussed during the meeting.
Energy co-operation is also expected to be discussed, as well as international challenges such as pandemics, climate change and migration.
After the end of the meeting, statements are scheduled to take place in the press around 15:30.
This meeting follows the previous consultations and the regular coordination between Greece, Cyprus and Egypt with France in the framework of the “3 + 1” scheme, it is pointed out in a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The last meeting took place online with the participation of the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in May 2020.
