THE Queen Elizabeth appeared holding in her hands walking stick something he had been using publicly for seven years.
According to Reuters, the queen was seen using a cane on Tuesday (12/10) as she attended the Thanksgiving ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
A source from the Palace told CNN that the monarch was holding the cane for her comfort, while according to British media it seems to be the first time that the queen uses a cane in public for such a reason.
Queen Elizabeth: When did she reappear with a cane?
The 95-year-old queen had previously appeared to use a cane for health reasons in 2003 after undergoing knee surgery.
Elizabeth, the longer than the monarchs of Britain, has been queen since February 6, 1952.
For the 70 years of her monarchy, a special event is planned in May 2022, with the main theme of one of her greatest passions, her love for horses. For this reason the celebration will include a four-day horseback riding trip to Windsor Castle.
