The guitarist of Queen , Brian May 77 years old, revealed that he recently suffered a spill which left him unable to use his left arm. The musician published the story on his social media profile and on YouTube this Wednesday (4).
In the video, the artist reassured fans, stating that he is recovering well and describing the incident as a “little scare”.
“I was worried because the little scare I mentioned happened about a week ago. It was a small stroke and then all of a sudden I lost control of my arm, which was pretty scary,” he explained, adding that he has since been medically cleared to play guitar again.

Finally, May added that she initially did not want to share the news, saying: “I really don’t want sympathy. Please don’t do this because my inbox will be full, and I hate that.”
Brian May is a musician, songwriter and guitarist who co-founded the band Queen alongside singer Freddie Mercury and the drummer Roger Taylor . He was also responsible for writing some of the group’s biggest hits, such as “We Will Rock You ” and “I Want It All “.
In 2023, he was knighted by King Charles III in recognition of his services to music and charity.
