Quentin Tarantino Launches NFT With Scenes From Pulp Fiction

Hollywood film director and screenwriter Quentin Tarantino will launch seven NFTs on the OpenSea marketplace in the form of seven uncensored scenes from Pulp Fiction.

“Pulp Fiction” is the second feature film directed by Tarantino. In 1994, the film was awarded the Palme d’Or, and in 1995, Tarantino and Canadian director Roger Avary won the Academy Award for Best Screenplay. The Collectible Tokens issued by Quentin Tarantino will also contain uncut scenes from the film, original handwritten scripts for it, exclusive audio commentary from Tarantino himself, and other details about the film and its director.

Tokens will be auctioned on the NFT OpenSea issuing and trading platform. Tarantino created the NFT in collaboration with SCRT Labs, the developer of the Secret Network, so they will operate on top of that network. It focuses on privacy and uses “secret contracts” on its blockchain. This means that the data will only be viewable by NFT owners.

Content creators will be able to decide which items will be available to the public and which items will only be available to unique token holders. Tarantino’s “secret” NFTs hide not only the unpublished Pulp Fiction material, but also the identity of the possible owners. V
conversation with CNBC Tarantino said:

“I am delighted to present to fans of Pulp Fiction these exclusive scenes from the film. Secret Network and Secret NFT are opening up a whole new channel of communication between fans and artists, and I am delighted to be involved, ”said Tarantino.

Collectible tokens are very popular in the entertainment industry. In August, the American company Marvel announced that it would release an NFT collection with comic book and movie characters. In addition, in September Larva Labs, creator of the CryptoPunks collectible tokens, announced a partnership with the Hollywood acting agency United Talent Agency (UTA), which works with global stars.
