Quentin Tarantino: One of the honorees at the Rome Film Festival

THE Quentin Tarantino will be honored by the Rome Film Festival this year with the Overall Offer Award in cinematic art. Tarantino will attend the Festival, which will take place on October 14-24, and will participate in an “in-depth meeting” with questions and answers (Q&A) with the public, according to APE.

“There was a time in my life when I was watching any Italian movie. “And I spent the best part of my career shooting my own version of these films,” American director Quentin Tarantino told THR. “So receiving an Overall Offer Award from the Rome Film Festival is fantastic!” underlined.

The American director will also be honored at the 16th Rome Film Festival Tim Burton with a Total Offer award, reports APE. The festival organizers describe him as “one of the most original filmmakers in the US film industry, the only one who can deliver an instantly recognizable visual universe to the big screen.” “The awarding of this honorary distinction by the Rome Film Festival is very special for me. “Fellini, Mario Bava, Dario Argento have been important inspirations in my life and receiving the award in Rome, a place I adore, a city where you feel like starring in your own film, is very moving,” said Tim Burton.
