Going beyond superpowers and missions to save the world, the X-Men, formed by a team of mutants created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby and who appear in comics and films released by the Marvel company, also have their own personal dramas and personalities.
Over the years, more than 10 films about the X-Men have been released, as well as animated series that have delved deeper into the history of the superheroes. The newest production in the universe was released this year. Entitled “X-Men ’97” the production arrived on Disney+ in March, 27 years after the release of its last season.
Although it does not portray all of them, Marvel estimates that there are millions of mutants spread across the world, including Brazilians. Some of the main names are Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Jean Grey, Rogue and Professor Xavier.
