The group Racional MC’s was nominated for BET Hip Hop Awards 2024 in the category “Best International Flow”. In addition to the group, the rapper from Espírito Santo, Budah, also represents Brazil in the category.
The North American awards focused on rap released the list of nominees this Wednesday (18) and has already awarded other Brazilians such as Djonga, MD Chefe and Major RD. The previous edition awarded Kendrick Lamar in four categories.
THE BET Awards of 2024 took place in July of this year with tributes to the singer Usher. Four Brazilians were nominated.
The rapper and ex-BBB Karol Conká and fellow rapper BK’ were among the nominees for the Best International Act award. The duo competed against names such as Raye, a British revelation who took home six awards at this year’s Brit Awards, and Tyla, winner of the Grammy for African Music.
Brazil also competed with two names in the International New Artist category. Trapper Oruam and rapper Duquesa appear among the nominees.
