Actress and presenter Rafa Kalimann is the newest muse of Imperatriz Leopoldinense, current champion of Rio de Janeiro Carnival. The announcement was made this Wednesday (22) on the Rio club’s social networks.
“Kalimann will be introduced to the Imperatriz community next Friday (24), during our court rehearsal. You are very welcome”, says an excerpt from the statement.
In Instagram stories, Rafa also shared with his fans and followers his visit to the school shed in Cidade do Samba, in the center of Rio, and the moment he saw the design of his costume.
“Give him a try now. My costume is beautiful. I am very honored by this invitation, very happy to step foot in Sapucaí for the first time being with you”, she celebrated.
Imperatriz Leopoldinense in 2024
After a 22-year fast, in 2023, the Empress became champion of the Special Group with the plot “The seizure of the goat that the Excommunicated treated with ill will and the Santíssimo gave no shelter”, written by carnival artist Leandro Viera.
For 2024, the school, which will close the first night of parades on February 11th, is looking for a second title with the theme “With luck turning to the moon, according to the testament of Gypsy Esmeralda”.
