Rafaela Cara: Thousands of Italians say goodbye

Thousands of people rushed to the Capitol of Rome, outside the church of Santa Maria in Ara Celli, for the last joy in Rafaela Kara, and today, Friday, the last day on which the showman is exposed to a popular pilgrimage.

The church was filled with yellow flowers, the favorite color of the Italian singer and TV presenter, while the coffin of which was simple – raw wood – as she had requested, according to the response of APE BPE from the capital of the neighboring country.

Many of her collaborators, her nieces, her ex-partner and director Sergio Giapino they said goodbye to her inside the church. Most of the fans were waiting outside, with great emotion, but also singing the great hits.

“Today we are all sad, but Rafaela would always want us to smile. “Rai should dedicate a large theater and television studio to which she worked for decades,” said the presenter. Miley Carlucci.

The mayor of Rome, Virginia Raji, stressed that “all of Italy, today, honors this woman who was a symbol of the country. “Because only great people do, he knew how to address and touch everyone, even the simplest people.”

“Rafaela, now you must enjoy all the rest you deserve, in the great feast of heaven,” said one of the monks of the Capuchins, who performed the funeral.

The body of the Italian artist is to be cremated. In a special glass box, her ashes are to be transported to Lower Italy, in San Giovanni Rotondo. She will be blessed by the cappuccino monks, in the monastery where the famous Italian monk lived Pandre Pio, which, for Rafaela, was a major spiritual reference point.
