The number of people killed as a result of the rains that have hit Rio Grande do Sul since last week has reached 143. The latest Civil Defense balance sheet was released this Sunday morning (12). The number of affected municipalities reached 446.
According to the report, the state has 806 injured and 125 missing. In total, 1,115,704 people were affected, of which 537,380 were homeless and 81,170 were sent to shelters.
Since the start of relief operations, 76,399 people and 10,555 animals have been rescued.

In total, according to the government of Rio Grande do Sul, there are more than 27,500 people working in rescues. The action has the support of 4,498 vehicles, in addition to 41 aircraft and 340 vessels.
