The number of people killed as a result of the rains that have hit Rio Grande do Sul since last week has reached 147. The latest Civil Defense balance sheet was released this Monday morning (13). The number of affected municipalities remains at 447.
According to the report, the state has 806 injured and 127 missing. In total, 2,115,703 people were affected, of which 538,241 are homeless and 80,826 remain in shelters.
Since the start of relief operations, 76,470 people and 10,814 animals have been rescued.

Teams work in rescue
In total, according to the government of Rio Grande do Sul, there are 27,651 people working in rescues. The action has the support of 4,405 vehicles, in addition to 41 aircraft and 340 vessels.

A mass of polar air drops temperatures in Rio Grande do Sul, while the rain gives residents of the state a little respite. In higher regions, the temperature may fall below 0°C, but in much of the state it will not exceed 10°C on Monday night (13). The information is from Climatempo.
The temperature remains low throughout the day, but the feeling of cold will prevail during the afternoon and, especially, tonight, in practically all regions of Rio Grande do Sul.

The Guaíba River once again surpassed the levels of the great flood of 1941 after more rain was recorded in Rio Grande do Sul. This Monday morning (13), the river reached 4.78 meters, three centimeters above the record of 4 .75 meters seen in 1941.
