The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services is monitoring the situation of heavy rains in Rio Grande do Sul and is evaluating the possibility of changing the logistics of the National Unified Public Competition (CNU) – which became known as “Enem dos Concursos” – in the state, which , to date, accounts for 107 cities hit by storms.
For now, the department says that there is no plan to postpone the application of exams on site, but that any decision will be announced and published by Friday (3). The tests are scheduled simultaneously across the country on Sunday (5).
The ministry is responsible for the government's new federal competition exam system. According to the ministry, a team monitors the situation “in loco”. The note published on social media informs that “any necessary logistical changes in cities affected by rain will be announced by the Ministry of Management”.
The team that is on site and passes on the information to the government is from the Cesgranrio Foundation, responsible for organizing and implementing the competition.
The foundation's members are currently in contact with the state government and the Federal Highway Police (PRF) to monitor travel conditions in the state and the possibilities for the tests.
Also this Wednesday (1st), federal deputy Fernanda Melchionna (PSOL-RS) sent a letter to the ministry to ask for the test to be postponed. According to the parliamentarian, there is no safety for travel.
