The Consumer Department of Rio Grande do Sul (Procon RS) formed a partnership with the National Consumer Secretariat (Senacon), the Gaúcha Supermarkets Association (Agas) and the Intermunicipal Union of Retail Commerce of Fuels and Lubricants (Sulpetro) to publicize , on a large scale, complaints against abusive prices and guidance to limit the quantity of products sold to each person.
The government of Rio Grande do Sul is trying to avoid price increases for essential items and is looking for alternatives to facilitate access to a mobile phone signal.
Procon RS maintains contact with mobile phone operators (Claro, Tim and Vivo) who have entered into a partnership for the shared use of their antennas, increasing the signal in certain regions of the state.
“We are working diligently to collaborate with the state in this delicate moment we are experiencing. Our main objective is to do everything possible so that consumers are not harmed, especially after everything they went through with the floods”, said the director of Procon RS, Rainer Grigolo.
